Kilted Cleaners has grown massively since we launched in Adelaide a little more than a year ago and we’re looking for new people to join the clan!

Experience isn’t necessary as we can provide full training. To thrive at Kilted Cleaners, all we need from you is hard work and a good attitude. The rest, well, we can teach you that!

We do have some legal requirements to allow you to work for Kilted Cleaners, however. If you don’t meet the following requirements, please don’t apply as your application will be ignored. Sorry.

Requirements to work for Kilted Cleaners:

• Legal right to work in Australia (we expect a verified work permit or visa for non-residents)
• Good oral and written English (you may be asked to take a basic English test)
• Full driver’s license (we need a copy of this)
• Police clearance (we need a copy of this)

Okay, boring stuff over!

You don’t need experience in window, solar panel, gutter or pressure cleaning to apply for this role (although any experience would be highly regarded).

We’re looking for individuals who are looking to work hard and do a job that offers variety, the chance to travel around and make a good wage.

Our Kilted Cleaners work all over. On any given day you could be cleaning windows at a single storey home in the countryside, cleaning solar panels on a two-storey roof in the city or pressure cleaning pavers at a residential home. There’s a lot of variety in the job!

What we’re looking for from you

We encourage applications from all walks of life! There are a few things that you should consider though, before you apply. Firstly, our uniform requires you to wear a kilt. This is non-negotiable. The kilt is what sets us apart from other cleaners and we expect it to be worn on all jobs (including on roofs). Secondly, some of our work requires working at height – off ladders and on roofs – so if you have a fear of heights, this isn’t the job for you.

The job can be physical so if you feel that you’re not up to lifting ladders, carrying weights above 20kg or climbing steps or ladders repeatedly in a day, again, this isn’t the job for you.
