Kilted Cleaners terms and conditions

By making a booking with Kilted Cleaners you agree and understand you are bound by the following terms and conditions:

Quotes from Kilted Cleaners

A quote from Kilted Cleaners – online, by phone, or via any other written or electronic communication is not an agreement on the price of the agreed work until we have visited the work site in person. You agree and understand that Kilted Cleaners may adjust the price after a site inspection. We will always get your approval before commencing work in this case.

Accessibility and safe work

We reserve the right to omit any area from cleaning – including but not limited to windows, solar panels, roofs, pavers, gutters and pool fences – if they are deemed by Kilted Cleaners to be inaccessible or unsafe. You agree and understand the original agreed price for the work must be paid in this case.

You agree and understand the removal of any furniture, plants, plant pots, candles, ornaments, machinery, tools and anything that could impede the work of Kilted Cleaners is not part of any Kilted Cleaners service. You agree that it is your responsibility to remove or relocate these items to an area or areas to allow safe and timely cleaning before Kilted Cleaners arrive at the work site. You understand and agree that there may be extra charges if we spend additional time moving or relocating items.

Window cleaning access

You agree and understand that you are required to remove blinds, curtains and any window dressings to allow Kilted Cleaners to complete window cleaning. We will remove these as a courtesy if they are deemed by your Kilted Cleaners technician to be easy to remove. You agree and understand that Kilted Cleaners reserve the right to omit windows where it is deemed by the technician to be taking excessive time to remove these. You agree and understand the original agreed price for the work must be paid in this case.

Payment

You agree and understand that payment for any Kilted Cleaners services must be paid in full at the completion of any work, unless otherwise agreed in writing. You agree and understand that Kilted Cleaners technicians must be paid in full before we leave the work site.

You agree and understand that full payment must be made at least 24 hours in advance of work commencement if you will not be present at the work site during the undertaking of the work.

Complaints, queries and issues

You agree and understand that any issues, queries or complaints regarding the standard of the work completed must be made to Kilted Cleaners whilst we are at the job site. We will always check that you are happy with the work completed at the end of the specified work and rectify any issues there and then.

You agree and understand that if Kilted Cleaners have to return to the job site to rectify or add services, an initial fee of $75 + GST, which must be paid in advance, and an hourly rate of $100 + GST whilst we attend the job site, may be payable at the discretion of Kilted Cleaners. An example of when this fee is required would be if we are asked to return to rectify issues that were outside of the agreed job scope.

You agree and understand that if you are not at the job site on completion of the work and in the event you are not happy with the work completed, we will return to the job site to address your concerns for a fee of $75 + GST – paid in advance – and you will be charged at $100 + GST per hour whilst we attend the job site.  

Deposits

You agree and understand that Kilted Cleaners may require a minimum of a 10% deposit and a maximum of a 20% deposit in advance when deemed required by Kilted Cleaners. An example of when a deposit is required is for work of a value of $500 or more. You agree and understand that this deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances, unless agreed prior in writing.

Cancellations and changes

You agree and understand that if you wish to cancel or change the date or time of your booking, you must give us a minimum of 24 hours notice before the date and time work was due to commence. You agree and understand that if you cancel or change your booking after the 24-hour period, you will be charged a fee of $50, which must be paid in full at the time of cancellation.

Weather policy

You agree and understand that Kilted Cleaners reserve the right to postpone work in the case of severe or inclement weather, at the discretion of Kilted Cleaners.

Terms and conditions summary

By agreeing to Kilted Cleaners undertaking work on the arranged property, you understand and agree that you are bound by these terms and conditions.

You understand and agree that no refund will be offered in any circumstances, unless agreed in writing by Kilted Cleaners.
